Our Retained Search is the highest level of service we provide and is reserved for construction executive jobs, including Director, VP, COO, and Partnership positions. NYCM Search has filled 100% of the retained searches we have taken on since our launch in 2009. We require a one third deposit of the total estimated fee for the placement and a 12-week schedule to complete a retained search. NYCM Search provides not only the expected “short list” of three to five candidates for the position, but also provides detailed work reports allowing our clients to see our process firsthand.
NYCM Search provides a majority of our clients with contingency searches. By executing a contingency search contract, NYCM Search is able to partner with clients to provide ongoing staffing needs over long periods of time. A contingency search is typically reserved for junior to middle management positions, however we’ve placed many executive level personnel within a contingency search agreement with our clients. Often, the the time frame to complete a contingency search is one month, although there are exceptions depending on candidate availability in the market, client company marketability, and pay rates.
