Managing Director – Service, Special Projects
Our client is a top tri-state builder with a track record of completing high end residential single family estates, townhouses and apartments throughout NYC, Westchester, the Hamptons, NJ and Fairfield County. Their CT office is seeking a head of special projects / service to shadow their outgoing managing director and to ensure a seamless transition of management of this crucial business unit.
In this role you will oversee sales, preconstruction, estimating, project management and turnover of all projects and project teams. You will have full responsibility over a team of 20 people running projects from $50k to $5 million.
Requirements:
Proven Experience running multiple project teams simultaneously. This is nearly non-negotiable as the bulk of this role is focused on team management, business unit operations. We would invite folks who have even run their own businesses in the past.
High End Residential experience. This is also nearly non-negotiable as the high end single family market – end users paying hard construction costs of 1-50 million, are in the uhnw space and require a certain diplomacy and high level of communication.
Project Management experience. While the role oversees PMs, this role will be tasked with trouble shooting and on occasion leading by example.
Local Westchester / Western CT Experience with GC / CM companies.
