Our client is a super unique studio focused on the conceptual design, fabrication, planning and installation of complex architectural and art installations globally.  The NYC office is seeking a Procurement Specialist bringing skills in estimating, procurement / sourcing and design to a role that will collaborate with project management and business development on the building up of this division focused on highly unique architectural installations in urban settings.

In this role you will need to prepare estimates (conceptual through to detailed cost estimates), develop relationships with and source from subcontractors, material suppliers, vendors, participate in bid reviews, handle risk analysis, and collaborate with project management throughout the life of the project when necessary.

Salary target is 150k, but there is room in either direction for the right person!
Benefits are excellent.  Work is primarily in office but there is some room for flexibility 1 day / week WFH.  Office is in Manhattan.

Relevant experience may include Scenic Design / Fabrication / Installation in film, theater, events, retail, etc..

Required Experience / Skills:
– Cost Estimating
– Sourcing / Procurement
– Familiarity with Rigging, Suspended Installation Methods, Site Coordination
– Material Exposure to metals, composites, glass, timber, concrete, lighting, specialty finishes
– Fabrication / Installation Exposure
