Job Description

Luxury Residential Single Family – Going Strong (as always)

As we enter into the halfway point of 2021, things are looking pretty good…knock on wood.  Ok, ‘things’ aren’t perfect… COVID is still raging in other countries, but so far so good with the vaccinations New Yorkers!  Yes there is political unrest, insane amounts of disinformation in our politics and on social media, massive supply chain and material pricing issues, manpower shortages, violence in the middle east,  and there is the pending threat of an alien invasion (did I read that right?), but overall I think we can say that real estate and architecture / construction are alive and well again in the tri-state area.

The market that continues to baffle, though, is the high end / luxury single family market.  We’re not talking about small renovations, or new production homes..we’re talking about ground up estates and massive renovations in the city and the burbs.  Western CT, Westchester, Manhattan, Brooklyn….  Projects ranging from 1 to 60 million dollars plus.  Our clients in this sector are very busy.  We work with over a dozen luxury residential builders throughout the tri-state area, many of them boasting some of the largest, most fascinating and complex projects in modern history.  High end design, cutting edge smart home tech, imported materials, complex builds….interesting clients, owners reps and architects with impossible expectations…you know the drill.  Resumes to david@newyorkcm.com subject: LUX RES
